Citrix Health Check

The Citrix Health Check service enables you to evaluate the overall health of your Citrix environment to ensure that it has been implemented and maintained according to Citrix best practices. EACS consultants maintain the highest industry certifications and bring many years of experience and knowledge of designing, installing and configuring Citrix infrastructure solutions within customer environments.

EACS Citrix Certified Engineers will visit your site and spend time working alongside your IT Team to determine how the Citrix Infrastructure is being utilised. Our engineers will carry out any immediate fixes which may be required and will provide documentation that will provide an overview of the current configuration and the overall health of the Citrix environment with specific recommendations where appropriate. High risk areas will be listed as well as recommendations for improvements or specific areas that need to be addressed in more detail.

This service normally requires one day on site and another day for documentation and recommendations depending on the size and complexity of the Citrix infrastructure.

Proof of Concept (POC)

The goal of the POC is to quickly validate preliminary assumptions regarding the use of Citrix technologies within your environment to meet business requirements. The POC will confirm that the Citrix solution will meet these requirements and will provide insights that may be used to properly scope the project. The data collected is invaluable to the Design and Build/Test phases of most projects.

EACS can arrange for evaluation Citrix Licences and hardware that can be used for the POC and will provide Engineers to work alongside your IT Team to implement the POC and provide support during the process.

The POC typically requires 5 consultant days (subject to complexity) spread across build, test, documentation and sign-off phases. Free Telephone Technical support is included for the first 30 days of the POC.

Design

Citrix Infrastructure Design

This design service covers the major components of the Citrix product line. During the service, the EACS Citrix Consultant determines and documents a best practice design of your Citrix architecture to meet the technical, business, and user requirements. The Infrastructure Design service is an important milestone prior to building and testing the solution. The Design Service usually requires a Technical Workshop.

Technical Workshop

The Technical Workshop is a collaborative session between EACS and your team. The output of the workshop will form the basis for the design of the proof-of-concept and Citrix Infrastructure. The technical workshop will typically cover the following areas:

  • Overview and architectural design
  • Users and devices
  • Review of applications
  • Application presentation
  • Infrastructure
